A little about me…

Hi there, I’m Jumbo — a big softie with an even bigger heart.

Despite my name, I don’t barrel through life like an elephant — I’m more of a slow, steady cuddler who just wants a calm corner, a kind soul, and a never-ending supply of head rubs. I was rescued from the rural edges of Romania, where I spent my early days fending for myself. It wasn’t easy, but I held onto my gentle nature and quiet loyalty.

Now I’m in the UK, learning what home feels like. Sofas? Magical. Treats? Life-changing. Humans? I adore them.

My likes:

• Strolls at a pace that lets me sniff every blade of grass

• Quiet time with my person — no pressure, just presence

• Soft toys (especially if I can carry them around like a prize)

• Being told I’m a “good boy” — I live for it

My dislikes:

• Loud, fast, chaotic energy – I’m more zen than zoom

• Sudden changes – I like to take my time with new things

• Small spaces or being rushed — I’m a big boy who needs room to feel safe

Ideal home:

I’d love a peaceful home with a secure garden and calm energy. I’m not the type for busy city streets or wild adventures — I’m all about the slow life. A quiet couple, a solo adopter, or a home with older kids would be perfect. I could live with another mellow dog friend, but I’m also happy being your one and only.

I’m neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and working on my confidence every day.
